Vicky Lee | Founder

Nervous System Regulation–Informed Practice

Vicky Lee brings over 20 years of experience within clinical medical and dental systems, grounded in strong safety awareness, structured clinical thinking, and clearly defined ethical boundaries.

Her practice is informed by principles of nervous system regulation and focuses on stabilisation, calibration, and the enhancement of emotional and physiological regulation capacity. Within a structured and professionally governed counselling framework, she integrates mindfulness-based approaches with non-verbal and rhythmic regulation practices to support autonomic stability prior to cognitive processing work.

Vicky maintains clear clinical boundaries regarding intensity, timing, scope, and appropriateness of intervention, ensuring that all practices remain tolerable and aligned with individual regulatory capacity.

In sound-based work, she utilises rhythmic acoustic input, such as gong and singing bowls to support physiological settling and integration, delivered in a manner designed to avoid overstimulation and support nervous system safety.

MIRIAM ADELSON | Co-Founder

Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)

Miriam Adelson is a Doctoral Researcher in Psychology and Education, with research focused on mindfulness-based interventions and the mechanisms of nervous system regulation, emotional stabilisation, and long-term psychological functioning.

Her work examines regulatory capacity and its relationship to psychological resilience, self-compassion, anxiety, depression, and overall mental health across non-clinical and integrative contexts.

Miriam holds a Master of Business and a Master of Education in Wellbeing from the University of Melbourne. She is certified in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) through the Center for Mindfulness at UMass Memorial Health (USA) and holds a Meditation Teaching Certificate in Australia. Her training includes extensive experience in evidence-based mindfulness, trauma-informed practice, and regulation-informed safety frameworks.

Within her regulation-informed MBCT approach, Miriam leads the cognitive and attentional components, integrating mindfulness training with principles of nervous system regulation to support stabilisation, reduction of stress reactivity, restoration of attentional clarity, and development of long-term psychological resilience in everyday functioning.

She specialises in translating complex mindfulness-based processes into structured, ethically governed, and professionally operable frameworks suitable for research, applied practice, and integrative wellbeing settings.
